Description:
Established by Act of the Georgia General Assembly in 1941. The authority was
created by Resolution of the Board of Commissioners, Aug. 6, 1941, to oversee
the operations of Grady Health System.
Membership/Appointment:
Consists of 10 members. The Fulton County Board of Commissioners appoints
seven members and the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners appoints
three.
Term:
Staggered terms of four years
Meetings:
Bi-monthly on the 4th Monday of the month

authority of the U.S. Virgin Islands. Founding trustee of Clark Atlanta University, member of
the Emory University Board of Visitors.
