Learning Resource Lab The Learning Resource Center (LRC) offers staff the opportunity to gain new and develop existing hands on skills using state of the art equipment and manikins. Learning tools include 11 simulated patient room areas, a self-contained computer lab with Internet access and a TV/VCR with video library.

The Nurse Extern Program will begin accepting applications for its fall rotation beginning Oct. 2, 2009. The deadline for all required documentation is Nov. 2, 2009. The program will start in December.

Nurse Shadow Program
The shadowing experience allows for observation only.
Each shadower must be approved by the Shadow a Nurse Coordinator and are limited to a maximum of 12 shadowing hours.

Nurse Re-Entry Program
The Nurse Re-Entry Program is designed for the inactive RN to re-enter nursing practice as a Registered Professional Nurse. Theory courses are held at Kennesaw State University and a 160-hour clinical rotation at Grady Health System.
Information session will be held on Oct. 2, 2009 from 10 am to noon at Grady Memorial Hospital in the 16-A classroom.
